Meaningless fact... Natty Bumppo was the hero of James Fenimore Cooper's Leatherstocking novels...
Did that character's name in Cooper's novels have the same wacky spelling (I am referring to the double "p")? There is a pattern of spam to derive names from literary characters. I have yet to see a Hamlet Q. Raskolnikov, though. I suppose that it is only a matter of time.
